ADCE: DNS Client Management

Duplicate DNS records for the same host may be created when domain computers connect to corporate network via VPN, WiFi and LAN and refresh their records dynamically before the next DNS scavenging cycle is triggered. This condition is fairly common as the users roam around the offices or work from home and surfaces as an issue when the host name resolution does not work reliably.
With the DNS Server and DNS Zone scavenging option generally set to several days, stale records exist for an extended period of time causing DNS name resolution errors. It significantly impacts the SLA that rely upon DNS name resolution of client computers.
DNS Reconciliation

Duplicate DNS records that are registered dynamically are consolidated leaving only current records.
